That gaming convention

so Hans and I attended the free public admission version of that gaming convention recently.
here are some pics taken during our walk around it.
in short summary, its ok, its alright, not too bad, it wasnt that great but it wasnt terrible either, we were entertained.

the ps3 booth
is it me or is it a common singapore marketing tactic to use the word "official" in an effort to get people to buy their stuff. come on... who ELSE other than sony singapore would be the distributor? ODEX? prease dun state the obvious prease.

the razer booth
really quite empty, and they had to depend on their staff to hand out the loud green or black bags of some free stuff (i got one, hans has both variants since he is teh 1337 gamexxors)

ea booth
wins the award for best-booth looking booth award. mostly circular so you can just walk round and round and get lost in it for minutes and minutes.
blizzard's booth wins the award for the best booth to head to when wanting to land a plane with an engine fault.

the 2 dota commentators slightly centre of the pic.
no feeeeling.
our clan's theory-craft is layers LAYERS more exciting then that. and humourous too.

finally some nintendo pics
their booth/floor space was well laid out. plenty of room to walk and see. and spaces for kids to walk and play. sorta like an expanded area normally seen in harvey norman or courts. ie. family friendly. heres some dslites and Wii pics.

and no school like the semi-old school.
incidentally, this is probably the europe version of the SNES. modelled after the JAPAN SNES (or rather.. the SFC) the US SNES has duller grey and purple buttons (maybe colours were considered childish to the marketing chaps), different contours for some buttons and longer controller cords.
