i think its very strange that the schools are making such a hooha over comments on student written blogs..
ban this ban that
censor this censor that.
suspend here suspend there.
its common knowledge that some students are well behaved and some are not and those do deserve to be punished in some form of another.But are the schools going to realise that there is a possibility that within their ranks... dwell some "not so nice" pple as well??
Who protects the students and their opinion? Its really sick.
i know this is a clan blog... but i do have to write it down as a pivotal moment in local news. Lets hope it changes, though i foresee some spokesperson saying some rubbish over the news.
To end off, we all have had our share of crappy teachers, in the end it was the communal backstabbing and cheering and complaints that brought people together..
I think blogging is not to insult the teacher personally, but as a means to tell a story to our friends, to narrate the days unfortunate happening and share the experiences with others, thus with this shared experience, we can better understand our fellow student. Another one of those ingredients for class spirit.
